The Goog and I have been watching a lot of Doctor Who lately.  And scince I don't the the patience or time to knit the 4th Doctor's scarf (do you know that at one point the Doctor wore 24 ft of scarf?!?!!?) I decided to come up with a smaller, more manageable project to work on while we watched tv.  Enter...INSULATE!

This hat is the hybrid of 2 different patterns and actually involved me doing math to figure out a pattern repeat!  That said, I think it came out pretty well and my math even held up.  There are 3 Dalek repeats, done using the "Exfoliate!" Dalek pattern.  I used Vanna's choice, which is a serviceable (read: soft and washable) acrylic yarn.  I'm looking forward to showing this off in the cooler weather.
