One last "summer" outing

Summer is drawing to a close and this weekend, I'm going on one last outing into the wilderness. One last evening camping before the summer is over. Some things however don't quite say summer.
The weather up in the mountains tends to change a bit earlier than down in Mass. I expect to see some early foliage and to have a cool, brisk day for hiking. I also expect to be huddled around the fire as the temperature drops to cold, actual cold at night. As long as it's not raining it will be a great time. What's a little cold when you can hike up mountains, drink icy river water and either hike up mountains, or just wander around in the valley. It should be fun, and might be the last time I get out until spring. Hiking, friends, and cold mountain air, bring it on!
