I'm back! Where have I been, well, living life of course. For all the good and bad. November and December were a 2 month siege of nearly constant work, with short breaks for the usual holiday mumbo jumbo. Big news abounds and all that, but that's for another day my friends. Today is Friday and Friday is supposed to be a day of mirth. So let us put aside the pain of the week behind and ignore the tribulations of the week to come. After all, we are in the future now, bring forth the Friday.
2009 Was just another year on the internet...or was it. As technology continued to roll forward, more and more people took to the tubes to get their opinion out. One of these was a girl. Now if you're an insomniac who trolls the internet, no doubt you saw this girl when she first appeared on the chans. Maybe you dismissed her as a lower life form because of her gaia account. No matter, it is doubtless that her energetic voice sits deep in the recesses of your mind. You gotta admit, whatever she's on, you want some. Love her or hate her, she's Boxxy.
In the much ado about nothing category, there was much debate about autotune and the hate for it, and how it doesn't make "real music". In reality it is nothing but another tool. Sure, it's overused sometimes, butevery other technology to hit the music scene has been. Do people forget the 80s so soon? Synthesizers were the end of music, so were drum machines, and keytars. Ok keytars really are dumb. My point is every form of pitch correction, guitar effects, sampling and even stereo sound(left speaker, right speaker, left speaker woo!) has been overused at one time or another. Soon enough the trend will end and it'll just be another tool in the box. And all the crappy music that would be crap with or without autotune will be as well regarded as Winger in 20 years. Plus, autotune makes Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking rock
To continue to crap on 2009, it was a year of generally bad movies. The usual painful chick flicks, and big budget stinkers like Transformers 2 and GI Joe. And then there's stuff like this
But enough of that, the best thing about Friday is bad music videos and with that, here's another stinker from last year. RIP 2009.
This would be just as bad without the difficult to understand accent.
Damn I miss Das ActionTeam
